I thought the same thing when I saw the picture of the Yowies on sale (down from about $3.60 to $2.70). But from what I've seen the price in Walmart is about $2.70 so really it might just be a case of the price reverting to the new market price.
It might be the case that YOW might start losing some of the more specialist candy stores as customers as it becomes a main stream product. I saw some of those specialist stores were charging $4+ per Yowie, they won't be able to do that if you can get them at every Walmart (and hopefully Walgreens and 7/11 etc) for $2.70.
