walmart does mix of warehouse and in-store fulfilment of online orders. perhaps warehouse is out of stock and this is why website shows unavailable. If warehouse empty, online ordering would rely on store fulfilment. that would mean you would potentially having a store in south east US being asked to post to hawaii, when the store could just sell instore. who knows
