Worst possible is Whetstone giving rights to his patents to a serious competitor, as I mentioned in my post. I am not sure what the ramifications are of Yowie deciding to stop paying licence fees, the courts will decide that.
Likely? Not sure. The ball is in Whetstone's court right now, IP wise. What this does tell me is that it is all about marketing now, Yowie has no cards left when it comes to IP protection. From what I have seen in the short YouTube clips released by Yowie, I am not confident. I reckon Yowie should approach Pokemon and get onboard with their new real world, Ingress like, mobile game.
I look forward to reading Yowie's new patent, it seems a few people here know the board, maybe they could get an application number for me...
