Yellow Rock makes bright ASX debut

Yellow Rock Resources has debut on the stockmarket at more than double its 20 cent offer price.

Yellow Rock started trading at 54 cents a share, up 34 cents or 170 per cent on its issue price.

The uranium and vanadium explorer's listing follows a $2.5 million initial public offering.

Vanadium is an ingredient used to make alloys, including stainless steel, while uranium is being increasingly targeted in the world push towards greener fuels.




The group's first year exploration budget is $1.02 million and it plans to evaluate the remaining strike line at its Gabanintha Project in Western Australia, then start work at the uranium prospects at Gabanintha and Money Shoal Basin in the Northern Territory.

The explorer also says it will consider buying other mineral projects complementary to its existing tenement portfolio.

At 1209 AEDT Yellow Rock's shares were trading at 48 cents.
