    Colin, I use E*Trade Pro which I find quite good and easy to use. It has live data, market depth etc. it cost nothing if you do 10 trades per month. I get EOD and plug it into FCharts Pro, a charting package from SpaceJock software, which I also find very good. I started by reading D. Guppy books, simple and easy to understand. But the bottom line is understanding Human Behaviour ... fear and greed drive the markets.
