It's actually a great tv if you don't watch morning shows and the likes that cause that kind of burn in. For example if you use it mainly for movies, tv shows etc. But if you do watch news then I'd look at alternatives. If you find a good alternative let me know. I guess I'll be having to make a purchase at some stage
