Buy now, pay later specialist Zip's strategic alliance with Amazon Australia has potential to drive a step-change in volumes and revenue. Shaw & Partners estimates "that on current annualized run-rates and typical online checkout shares that Amazon Australia on a full run-rate basis could add 15% to Zip's current total transaction value alone (and grow strongly alongside market share gains)." Also, Shaw speculates whether it is helping to create a platform that Zip can launch globally, with the U.K. an early target. ([email protected]; @dwinningWSJ)
