Note on the latest quarterly result from.cba they did beat analysts predictions/ forecasts and specifically mentioned credit card applications were increasing.
However a UBS analyst in the room when CBA were doing the presso and showing the data queried the segmentation of new customer applications and asked why the 18-24 age.cohort was so low with regards to new credit card applications.
The CBA person couldn't answer the question well. This support that gen zs don't like and aren't signing up for credit cards.
