Can't just release announcements for no reason. It will be viewed as trying to manipulate share price which is illegal and asx will take action against (many companies have got done for this).
only announcements that have material effect on the company can be put to asx. As Zip has developed larger revenues no single mechant is material anymore (think kmart/and business alike years ago) these used to be announced and not anymore due to not makimg a impact. As for sezzle they dont have the large revenue / mechants as zip so these are material for them..
