    I consider its in a normal range for a growth company. My personal debt to income ratio is higher than this as I have 3 investment properties worths multi millions. I have not defaulted on the payments and I have not gone bankrupt either. If Australia property market has crashed, everyone would be suffering not just me. Zip only has a couple thousand dollars limit. If people defaults on zip, they will default on home loans which will have a larger effect in the whole market. And banks WILL suffer the most not Zip.

    More people use Zip as a tool of managing cashflows which is consistent to the up trend of saving rate. I use zip to manage my rates/body corporate payments for my rental properties.

    Even for individuals to get home loans, unless the debt to income is more than 45%, they could still be approved for a home loan and how many people defualt the home loans these days?

    Zip is a growing company which means the risk is high and return will be high too.

    It is simply not for value investors. They should be investing in WPL, WES, WOW or COL type of business.
