Larry Diamond has mentioned in an interview a few months back that he is welcoming regulation however would rather have it self regulated against a standard code of practice. Also Zip is tied in with Westpac in a strategic partnership so will have everyone done by the book.
If anything it will validate players such as Zip and cut off the BNPL space to only a select few.
