can this be the case with CGT ???
say the HK investor gets ??? % via a placement or something… he’ll then use his holding to try and force the price of the company down… knowing that there are no other buyers of the company (that’s why he was able to get into the placement cheap)…. As the price stays depressed… the company will not be able to raise capital at good price, or raise capital at all… it’ll then have to go back to the HK guy for more money… and issue more shares at even lower price…. Slowly but surely the HK investor would accumulate a significant amount of shares and may even be able to take over.
