I'd be interested to know a bit more about what Shane Tanner's involvement is - I hold PGC and have been thoroughly impressed with its integration and roll-up efforts but this is a different kettle of fish.

    Zenitas joins 2016 IPO runway
Following the shelving of Charter Hall's Long WALE REIT, much of the focus is on whether large local floats will get away ahead of the year's end.

But at the smaller end there are still new names joining the initial public offering runway.

The latest is Zenitas, a health services, aged care and medical ancillary services roll up. Street Talk can reveal the company's management met with investors in Asia early this week ahead of meetings locally.

It plans to raise about $30 million which will give it a market capitalisation of $50 million. Wilsons and Bell Potter are managing the float and a bookbuild is scheduled for later this month.

The company will be led by Justin Walter, chief executive of integrated healthcare business BGD, and the former general manager of health and aged care at Spotless Group.

Shane Tanner, healthcare stalwart and chair of ASX-listed medical equipment company Paragon Care, is also said to have an involvement with Zenitas.

Sources said Zenitas planned to list with more than 50 clinics and expand by growing patient numbers and opening and acquiring new clinics.

It is being pitched as an "allied health" company, which describes support services not including GPs, nursing or dental professionals. Examples include respiratory therapists and clinical psychologists.
