ASP does not use lasers it uses aerodynamic separation which is not as specific with isotopes that are close together it also seems to use a lot of power according to MG who was at pains not to talk about another company suffice to say it appears to more power,hence moving from South Africa to Iceland where power is cheaper.
I believe Laser Separation is superior to gas diffusion, Centrifuge or Aerodynamics as well simply because it can target one specific isotope where as these others can't do it so easily case in point is Si28 and Si29 or U235 and U236 for instance.
