I did a google search of Qld AG reports to parliament for 2010 before i read this Courier Mail blog (same result zero mention zerogen). I suspect Langbroek's (and anyone else's) calls for an inquiry will be drowned out by the jingle and jangle sound of Christmas bells. In politics, timing is essential !!

ONE of the curiosities of the State Government's floundering clean energy company ZeroGen is how little information is published about it.
Like many Government businesses, ZeroGen is set up under the Corporations Act - so it isn't available under Right To Information and pretty much operates without much scrutiny.
Not even its financial statements are made truly public and the Queensland Parliament's tabled papers database doesn't get one hit with ZeroGen.
Which is strange given what The Sunday Mail has reported on today here.(click)
But when The Pineapple went digging in the Australian Securities and Investments Commission records, it found a set of financial statements from September and an attached report by Auditor-General Glenn Poole, who notes the report is normally posted on the ZeroGen website.
It hasn't, there hasn't been a media release in 12 months and The Pineapple is $37.18 worse off.
We had to cut them back for the paper today but here's Poole's comments on the company's future, and that was before the State got out.
