    Ha! Good point.

Water is not in short supply everywhere. If we have a closer look at where it IS in short supply, we find that it tends to be in the higher rainfall areas.

    How can that be?

The answer is that people, councils, and Governments of places that have low rainfall long ago realised the need for storage and planning.

Its only in the places where it was taken for granted and no planning was done, that there is a problem.

I've been saying for years that if you want to know how to manage water, for advice you go to the places that have been doing is successfully for generations. There are plenty about.

I live in a 20 inch rainfall zone. The city nearby has never had water restrictions. And now has enough water for many years to come.
