The long running relationship (
16/5/17) between Fluence and Zhejiang Tiandi/Energy Group is starting to pay dividends with some new contracts on the horizon.
The 600m3/d greenfield SUBRE plant at Baiguo Village, Qingliangfeng Town, Lin'an District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province has been completed, and effluent has been tested to reach Class 1A standards and will be used for farmland irrigation. This project received a fair bit of media coverage. This particular area near Daming Mountain is a national 4A level scenic spot, attracting over 1 million tourists per year.
Lin'an District is a demonstration area for the Zhejiang Provincial Housing and Construction Commission, so this and the Tonglu (another demonstration area) Aspiral MABR site will be used as key examples of rural sewage treatment in Hangzhou.
Qingliangfeng Town has 117 sewage treatment terminals that will be upgraded in batches this year (not all require new treatment like MABR). In future this area will become a environmental science teaching base for primary and middle school students of the town.
More than 20 villages and towns in Hangzhou and Quzhou have signed contracts with Zhejiang Tiandi for renovation of sewage treatment facilities.

Zhejiang Tiandi/Energy management and staff have been receiving extra training about MABR technology for the last year or so, as it is a big part of their future plans.
