The independent directors support Zijn`s measly offer of 20 cents as being fair and reasonable. Are they blind, deaf and dumb with rising gold prices particularly in aussie dollar terms?
What I would like to know 1) Are they retaining roles in the new Zijn and how well paid will these be .Have they been offered options and shares in the new Zijn?
2) If not staying what are their payout amounts
3) What options they have and what shares will they take up and what profit will they realize on selling into the Zijn offer.
If money isn`t driving their advocacy of Zijn`s offer then they should state clearly in the public view any financial benefits Zijn`s takeover will give them.t
When seeing plainly there no financial or employment advantages to the independent directors then I will believe their support for Zijn`s scheme as being sincere even if misguided.
