The positive spin I was referring to was your "amicable resolution" comment. Also the article that referred to Zijin saying they are still watching was a nice bit of spin, that between the lines actually says, "Africa is a better place for us than the Philippines".

I somewhat agree with your point though. The Business World article I posted that you refer to in your last post hits some home truths. It pretty much says:

1. we can't get much done.
2. the security situation is grave and nearly untenable
3. the national government is not motivated to address approval obstacles.

Pretty much the exact points I've been making on this forum for the last eons. It's just that when the head of the company says it, it doesn't upset the faithful in the same way a post on HC does. Now that is spin.
