I could be wrong as it has been a while since I read about the collapse of Pasminco.
The issue with hedging is that - what if you can't procuse to required amount of metal to meet the contracts that you hedged at? I think this - along with other dramas is what caused Pasminco to blow up - they were unable to meet the contracted supply of concentrate.
Does anyone else have a thought about this?
