Analysts were saying that Zn had gone too parabolic.But if the recent spike/retrace is taken as a part of the overall chart then it looks to me as though zinc is just responding to the very bullish stockpile fundamentals and if this is the case that valuation by DB may be very conservative and we may be headed back to 1974 prices if not higher.
Its forecast that the stockpile still has approximately 200,000 tonnes to be drawn down THIS YEAR and the price of zinc is already above $1.10/lb.
Begs the question as to where it will be by years end.
Maybe MF does have it right in holding off on finalising the off-take.These guys will be tearing at the walls to get this off-take signed up.
