as Gann45 said, after an exponential rise in the price of zinc it was always going to fall back. Zinc investors jump ship and the sp's of zinc stocks get whacked, the momentum carrying them further down than current fair value in the anticipation that zinc will fall further. Look at the threads of MLS, AIM, ZFX, KZL, INL etc and they are all filled with worried concerned people (and a few others who enjoy seeing people take losses). Nothing positive will happen to these stocks until the POZ stabilises.
