Yeah - cheers djr67 - 100% empathy with the storage issue.
I got stuck into solar about three years ago, and changed a heap of power usage patterns just through visibility (dumb I know, but learning)
I still can't deal with the price of the Tesla - $7K for 7 KWH is too ritzy for me, but I expect lots of movement to proper commercialisation, as opposed to niche demand. Its gonna get attractive at some point.
wdyr - I reckon that the tipping point is storage of about 20 - 25 KWH - thats a whole day for most households, more than enough for this abode.
I am long ORE - I reckon they are the best LI story on the ASX - but I am watching for LI tech disruption, with some interest. There will be a game changer at some point. Maybe its the zinc battery - in your article ?
