Entertaining failure of Glen is really preposterous IMO.
Kind of conspiracy theory versus Ivan by numerous enemies
he's made over the years and rival GS the champ of commodities
bears. Add hand wringers about China, the world economy and
assorted shorters, hedgies and just dumb media and you have
the present day cocktail. The gent from Chicago and various
managers on the other hand are making rather large bets on
the full recovery of the company. What is the main headwind
on a bullish bet is our addiction to instant gratification ( ex:walking
about with small bottles of liquids so if we're thirsty we can
IMMEDIATELY quench it). So why bet on Glen when it may
take some time, eventhough it could be a great investment.
Average Joe, do you recognize yourself? Also you may accept the
conventional wisdom, you may not get too much hurt, why go
contrarian? As to IBG and PoZ it is part of the story.
