Decided to re-read the announcement where zinc was shelved:
Cost estimates equate to US $0.70 per pound of payable metal. Cost estimates are exclusive of stevedoring, shipping, treatment and refining costs, taxes, permitting costs, government or community fees and charges."
Zinc is sitting at 0.98c/lbs at the moment from the lows of 0.80c/lbs when the project was originally shelved - and lead has done even better, up from lows of 0.079c/lbs in June to $1.08/lb at the moment.
