The annual asian benchmark refers to concentrate sales terms not metal spot prices. Having said that, metal spot prices are a component of the comncentrate sale formula.
In any case, both the metal market and the zinc concs markets are extremely tight and look to be for years to come.
The recent sharp increase in iron ore imports into china and subsequent freight market rally clearly indicates China is still flying and looks likely to continue for years to come. Zinc and steel go hand in hand.
