1215 [Dow Jones] Zinc futures traded on Shanghai Futures Exchange sharply lower on higher-than-expected June output data released late yesterday; "the domestic market is flooded with imports due to the favorable SHFE, LME spread, but now that production remains strong, while demand is weak, domestic prices need to fall further, until exports become profitable," says trader in Shanghai.
