Since I am new to shares, coming from a property investing background where a 5–10-year+ horizon is the norm (unless it's a development), I could actually envision myself still holding ZIP for 3+ years, assuming they execute well and the BNPL sector continues its growth. However, by that time, it would no longer be a speculative investment, and I'd be looking to allocate 10% of my funds into one or two more beaten up stocks for speculative purposes. If and when ZIP begins to be purchased and held by the big super funds, that's probably my cue to exit. I certainly wouldn't be the first to acknowledge that there are profits to be made in predicting where the big super funds will invest, given their predictable investment methodologies.
ZIP could also disappear that is possible.
