You're right on the first point The Datsun as long as you accept that the metrics that the company puts out are cherrypicked to paint a rosy picture. Accordingly it is reasonable to portray an alternative/more rounded picture which reveals the whole. As for a business pitching its survival on not paying its debts, (entirely removing any moral standpoint which is irrelevant) I'll leave that there - it is not at all a good look when the underlying business remains unprofitable.
