They only started serious merger talks again start of this year, during those merger talks they wouldn't have stopped any recruiting.Also they're still hiring people they need, they're just getting rid of the people they don't need.This is a business mate, this is the right move, this should make any investor happy
No one is crying about this in the tech community lol. Plenty of work out there. I know for a fact recruitment companies/other business have already been contacting staff that have been let off.
