Just paid most of my ATO bill with Zip. Although the ATO offer payment plans, the interest rate is slightly higher than Zip's implicit interest rate. Also, I can adjust my payment amount & frequency very easily. I love the product.
I am not too surprised now at the drop after the quarterly when you compare it to Afterpay who is killing it with the rate of new users (as per today's update). The good thing about this is they are mostly going to be new customers to the BNPL space, and a proportion of them will get on zip as well at some point (not in the US as we do not exist over there yet).
This quarter is going to make or break this co, and I am betting on a great result.
