On ZIP, the need for unbiased discussion is even more critical. The stock’s history of hype cycles and speculative trading highlights how narratives can easily deviate from reality. While some might still cling to hope of a turnaround, the fundamentals tell a different story. ZIP’s reliance on U.S. expansion for growth raises questions about sustainability, especially in a high-interest-rate environment where default risks increase and BNPL business models face tighter scrutiny. Add to that its cash burn and the competitive landscape, and it’s hard to see how ZIP can deliver value without significant restructuring or market changes.
