You may be correct I'm talking about the multi bag ASX stocks there is a lot of people sitting on substantial Capital Gains some of which will be paying tax at over fourty percent.
Those that bought at the March lows have itchy trigger fingers and can't wait to bank the profits
Especially as you suggest the overall markets are already declining they are watching profits disappear before their eyes and will sell at first opportunity producing a waterfall effect
