Anyone stupid enough to take any notice of this kind of stuff almost deserves to lose money - this ‘analysis’ is completely detached from both the reality of the company’s performance and the sector overall. If this analyst put this up in our company, and the stock continued to head upwards, they’d be rightly fired on the grounds of gross ineptitude. The only takeaway from this is that Macquarie is short, or has a number of their clients short.
