Stefan spent a lot of time trying to justify why the shareprice of zip should continue to fall when it was at 6 and 5 dollar range. He said Margin erosion due to tap and zip would cause zipsargin to plummet as all their customer base would just start tap and zipping and thrargin on those transactions were half a percent or less. FALSE. Reality; zips cracked the ANZ mkt on high growth with tap and zip delivering faster growth in ANZ than Afterpay by a big margin. Zip still retains a margin between 5-6 percent in the ANZ. Stefan said there is real risk of business execution risk of mgmt not being able to deliver continued growth and mentioned several analystsentioning zip would be able to maintain growth. REALITY. Zips done exceptionally well. Afterpay flatlined a quarter growth in US resulting in Nick needing to head to the US to try steady a ship. The only execution risk weve seen to date has been from Afterpay. Zip is delivering on all their goals and strategies. More fluff and fear mongering from Stefan.
i could go on. Stefan's sentiment has now changed some but he is a snake in the grass. Everyone is waiting for him to turn back to his normal self.
