I guess we can't confirm anything absolutely without getting access to the app, but the whole point of Zipt is it uses compression technology that gives clear voice transmission at low bandwidth. 3G/4G/whatever are a set of transmission protocols, bandwidth specs etc that are used to transmit data. The later gen protocols can transmit more data faster but a unit of data is a unit of data anywhere. If they can get clear voice on 2G they can get clear voice on 3G, 4G, 5G for the same amount of data.
