Thought it was time for a new thread specifically about potential partnerships for Zip given speculation about Klarna's involvement on the register and also Square's recent acquisition of Afterpay.
Please keep this thread to partnership discussions only.
To kick off - My thoughts on a possible Strategic partner for Zip could be Apple.
Apple currently offer Zip as a payment method on their online store as well as Zip having integrated Apple Pay into the Zip app so the relationship is already there.
Apple are in the Credit Card market in the US so it's not so farfetched to think they might acquire a BNPL provider to obtain a customer base and some market share.
Not to mention also the Retail Investor Day and Apple's Launch Gala are both on the same day...
All speculation of course but worth discussion
