Zip has a much better sign up and customer service team than Afterpay.
When I was in the market to sign up, Afterpay rejected my account application, said they would sort out the issue and call me back. This happened twice and those return calls were never adhered to. They lost a customer.
Zip was easy and has the added flexibility with repayment options. Further, the credit checks for increases in spending are necessary to reduced defaults.
