BNPL as a business argument aside, this is why I have always liked affirm over zip. Leadership is the single most important factor of a listed company.

even their warehousing, all done by securitisation removes the added capital risk that traditional warehousing has on listed fintechs/credit companies
money was all spent in the growth and exclusive verticals, rather than global domination via possibly overpriced satellite start ups
look at how (almost) perfectly executed Afterpays plan was, thanks mostly to its board.
