My opinion is that the stock hasn't had earnings downgrades for some time now, so hedge funds that short companies with weakening profit forecasts may be moving on to other targets. Combine this with the general increase in market volatility, those same investors tend to reduce their position sizes or at least discourages taking on new leverage.
