It's just part of their ramping agenda trying to create fear of selling ahead of an expected quarterly report which of course is not immenent.
The market bias has changed and it's running out of FOMO investors reacting to fluff announcements on customer numbers and GMV and causing buying spikes and immediately getting burnt.
Unless they can demonstrate a path to profitability then sellers will just immediately sell into any FOMO spike.
