In recent presentations Tim Carstens (Base CEO) has made multiple comments that consolidation in the sector is almost certain to occur in the near to medium term.
One would expect Image to be an obvious target as they look very cheap with cash, inventory and ongoing production from Atlas. At a current market cap of $164m they would present an attractive bite size chunk for a larger company. All conjecture of course, but it just makes sense in the current environment.
