But RTM have the rights to the ground which contains diamonds (which they can take) and zircon (which they have applied for). Who else can take the zircon when RTM have the ground which contains the zircon? I'm sure the zircon rights are a mere formality??
Of course, RTM still have to apply for a mining license to remove large quantities of material for sale.
Do you think the government would leave the zircon in the ground considering the potential export income it could generate for Namibia - multipes more than the diamonds!??
