Clearly in their ann they have made a 200k saving, and paid 300k. The exact composition of where those numbers come from we don't know. The announcement suggests that the 200k saving is "immediate over the course of 2017" so maybe it's an estimation based on what they expected to pay in royalties. What I am trying to say is my interpretation of this news is ZLD expected to pay at least 500k, they paid 300k now to save 200k in 2017. 300 + 200 = 500. The total amount of money affected is 500k.
