I've done a bit of digging.....pretty smart move from Zodiac.......they already own some stock and know the finances better than the punters until the income statment is released.....so why not try to mop up more shares than one could on the market at a 'large premium' to the past week's price

The way the conditions are set....as in unconditional in first 30 days shows they don't actually want to takeover the company......they just want to weed out all the punters silly enough to sell before the income statment and sell not having understood it the companies value......that's my take anyway, it's a good sign for the income statement, after all...why make a bid of this type

Pretty smart all round, might be good for FDY to have about a 40% major holder at the end of this and weed out some of the punters.
