Yes that is Labor platform but not enough gas projects are getting approved and given the shortened timeframes for investment by the gas companies they are looking elsewhere for longer term more secure investments ie overseas where sovereign risk is less of a problem. The approvals for gas or coal are probably on a go slow list with the Labor states and feds so again little incentive for major gas companies to explore and develop.
Labor has rolled out their renewables policy and these are the consequences of non intended consequences living large.
