Isn’t there a ban on drilling for gas in Victoria?
I know that in WA there was a big protest about fracking around the Dongra area a few years back.
The bed wetter’s were all in a huff about the dangers of containing the aquifer.
Unfortunately the CSIRO team that studied the issue found that the aquifer was in no danger from fracking, owing to the distance between the aquifer and the gas/oil deposits.
Green Tape certainly is an issue, even when it comes to those solar and wind factory projects.
