In fact various reports a large proportion of industry fleeing China to dodge the tariffs are heading to Vietnam.
With a large existing electronics assembly industry Malaysia is squandering a golden opportunity to build a Middle Supply Chain from oxides to components, purely due to the narrow self interest of a handful of politicians.
