Last update: 09/07/2019KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- A Government ruling on Lynas Corporation’s removal of water leach purification (WLP) residue and new conditions by the Atomic Energy Licensing Board in order for licence-renewal will be known by mid-August, the Dewan Rakyat was told today.
Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC) deputy minister, Isnaraissah Munirah Majlis, said the rare earth mining company’s appeal was heard on June 28 but “we still need more input before a decision is made”.
