The only good thing that came out of me holding FTT and TIS is that when the results were announced I transferred my almost worthless shares to http://www.sharegiftaustralia.org.au/ at about 0.003. SGA donates the proceeds from donations of "worthless" shares to 470 charities.
Anyone still holding or considering tax loss selling from other "unfortunate events" may like to consider SGA. You still get a tax loss and a tax deduction.
Unfortunately they will not accept donations of Directors or CEOs
